Team Bowel Research UK taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Raising vital funds for life-changing research into bowel cancer and bowel disease

Story

After running round London earlier on in the year, I though it might be quite easy to do half the distance to help out two of my dearest friends. Steve, one of my closest mates was previously diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, and literally owes his life to charities like this one, and the research and ground breaking development that takes place. Nic, also one of my closest friends, and Steve's wife was taking on this event to raise some money for the charity. Sadly Nic became injured during her training, and I foolishly thought six weeks would be enough time to do some prep runs, take her place and raise some money for this amazing charity. These two people mean the world to me, this will be a genuine challenge for me, given where I am fitness wise, so please give as generously as you can, and as always I genuinely appreciate all the support.
