Story

As many of you will know I sadly lost my wife back in August 2022 to Leiomyosarcoma cancer. Julie spent her last few weeks in Dove House Hospice were the care and love from all the staff for not just Julie but the whole family was incredible. I would like to give something back to them as they are mainly funded by donations and the support they gave and are still giving is great.

This year I am walking Lands End to John O Groats 874 miles (virtual) and aiming to complete this by Julie's birthday on the 3rd April. Holding a coffee morning at Hedon Primary School on 31st March 9am where my daughter is having 10 inches of hair cut off for Little Princess Trust. Walking 48 miles on the 22nd April and finishing off with the Great North Run in September. Not only will these be a physical challenge but a mental one which I struggle daily with.

Thank you

Dave
