We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

For my friend, teacher and colleague, Alan Dewhurst - captain of his soul, and all round super-being.

See our Team Page for info on the challenge itself (100km continuous) if you’re interested - or just trust me when I say it’ll be the physically toughest thing I’ve done for nigh on 40 years (other than looking after a baby of course…).

Feel free to cough up as much as you like - especially if you or yours are entering “sniper alley”, that period from 50 something to 60 something when way too many men seem to be felled by one horrible thing or another.

We’re self-funded so all proceeds to Brain Tumour research.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
