We offer care and support to the Chelsea Pensioners

Story

I'm excited to be running the London Marathon for the first time since 1982 to raise much needed funds for the Royal Hospital Chelsea!

In 2019 I became a Chelsea Pensioner and I've never looked back - the opportunities I've had here have been incredible and every day I see the work that the Royal Hospital does to provide care and comradeship to Army veterans, both inside and outside our gates.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea has offered accommodation and care to old soldiers for over 330 years, and today around 300 Army veterans live here, including those who've served in Korea, the Falkland Islands, Cyprus, Northern Ireland and World War II.

At 73 years old I've been training hard for nearly a year to take on this challenge, and hope you'll help support this cause that's so close to my heart. Stay tuned for updates!
