Summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro to provide water and education to underprivileged people living in arid remote parts of Kenya.

David Githae is raising money for Osiligi Charity Projects

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro

We work across Kenya repairing broken hand pumps and working in the Maasai areas of Kenya, helping families out of poverty through education, health and local clean water and by assisting people to become more economically active. We are a team of volunteers with no salaries or costs thus 100% of monies we receive go to the projects in Kenya. Nothing is used for any UK expenses.

Story

I am thrilled to share that I will be embarking on a trek to conquer the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, and the highest in Africa in support of Osiligi Charity Projects (http://www.osiligi.org/). This incredible organization based in the UK, in which am a volunteer, is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in Kenya through initiatives such as providing clean water, supporting education, improving healthcare, and offering refuge to vulnerable children and girls facing significant risks including FGM and early marriages. By participating in this challenging adventure, I aim to raise funds that will directly contribute to these life-changing projects. With your generous support, we can together make a tangible difference. Join me on this journey of hope and empowerment!
