Story
Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to share with you that I have been selected to run in the prestigious 128th Boston Marathon! This incredible opportunity comes with the chance to raise funds for a cause very dear to my heart—the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus.
At Abbott, where I work, I was fortunate enough to win a charity bib for this marathon, and it immediately struck me that this was the perfect chance to give back to an organization that my family has been involved with for many years. My father served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House for several years, and after his passing, my mother channeled donations and contributions to enhance the library in his honor. My family continues to support the house by sponsoring the beverage station installed as part of the newly renovated and expanded cafeteria.
For those who may not be familiar, the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus provides invaluable support to families with children requiring around-the-clock care at nearby hospitals. They offer housing, meals, and transportation, all free of charge, allowing these families to focus solely on the well-being of their children. To learn more about their incredible work, I encourage you to visit their website at https://rmhc-centralohio.org/about/.
I am deeply proud to raise funds for such a worthy cause and humbly ask for your support. Please consider making a donation through the link provided, knowing that 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus.
Together, let's make a difference in the lives of these families who need our support now more than ever.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
Warm regards,
David Geier
