In April 2025 I will be taking on the mighty and legendary Ultra Marathon des Sables. This is a 6 stage, 250km race across the Sahara Desert, carrying 25lb of equipment in one of the hottest places on earth.

I will spend 9 days in the desert, sleeping on the rock floor, eating cold dry rations, and running a marathon per day, except on one of the days where I will be running 2!

I will be attempting to raise as many funds as possible for the Standing Tall Foundation, a small charity based in St Helens that provides vital support services including Mental Health Counselling, Addiction, Wellbeing and Housing & Benefits support, as well as specialist support for Ex-Servives.

Both the Standing Tall Foundation and Ian Milton at Coaching Centred Leadership (CCL) have made this event possible, and it’s with their support that’ll be raising awareness of the mental plight within our communities.
