Story
Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.
I will be taking part in the Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultra Marathon race in October and am so excited to take on the challenge! I've always enjoyed keeping active but having decided to take on this challenge it's definitely a big step up from my usual training routine. Running 60 miles starting from the Riverside Museum in Glasgow and finishing through in Edinburgh is something that both extremely excites and slightly terrifies me - but I'm dedicated to giving it my best effort!
I decided to fundraise for the Glasgow Children's Hospital due to the incredible work they do for young people and their families throughout Glasgow and across Scotland - including my own. My younger brother (Jack) was in the care of the team at the hospital when he needed a kidney operation and thanks to the extraordinary work they did when Jack was only 1 he's now a fit and healthy teenager - albeit a moody one (sorry Jack!)
If you are interested please take a look at some of the incredible work that goes on at Scotland's largest children's hospital - https://www.glasgowchildrenshospitalcharity.org/our-impact/how-your-money-helps
Any donations would be hugely appreciated by both myself and the charity and I'm so excited to go on this journey, raise crucial funds for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and take on this challenge come October!!
