Writing a Diary of my Journey with Cancer

Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity funds projects above the remit of the NHS. Projects include providing state-of-the-art equipment, green spaces for patients to relax in and support services such as counselling and complementary therapies to help patients going through treatment.

Story

David Cancer Diary

There are millions of people living with cancer in Britain today.

This is the story of one of them.

At 86, David Davis, retired journalist and communications specialist, was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2022 and he is now undergoing immunotherapy treatment – “a pill a day” - under the expert care of doctors at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood, UK.

Month by month his diary tells what it is like for him and his wife Beryl trying to live a near normal life with cancer - www.davidscancerdiary.co.uk

Writing again helps him get through the rough days and he hopes other cancer sufferers will benefit from what he has learned about coping.

Your generosity will help MVCC keep pace with the latest equipment technology and continue its internationally recognized cancer research.
