We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

1000 miles to Denmark (Yorkshire to Copenhagen)

In 2021 I was all set to cycle across Europe - then the small matter of Covid restrictions ended that. 2 years later and I am re-igniting the challenge, cycling most of the route solo in May 2024.

However, rather than just enjoy the scenery and the burning legs, I would like to make this meaningful - and support the work of my Chair, Wilson Leech, who has been a passionate crusader for Type 1 diabetes, since he was diagnosed in his early teens.

So we'd like your support, and would love your donations. Every penny is going towards the Juvenile Diabetes Fund (the JDRF), who are trying to cure and manage this destructive disease.

JDRF is the leading global organisation harnessing the power of research, advocacy, and community engagement to advance life-changing breakthroughs for type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Additionally, www.thevaluecircle.co.uk have agreed to match fund any monies raised as part of this effort.
