Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Doddie Weir set up the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation after his own diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017 and he dedicated much of his remaining life to raising funds to find a cure and support people living with MND. Doddie had a genuine ability to make people he met feel like a million dollars. We hope to raise that, ideally in £'s, as our contribution to his legacy and help to find the cure.

Along with a few other cyclists including England and British & Irish Lions legends Peter Winterbottom and Mike Teague, I am embarking on a 3,250 mile ride across the USA starting in May. At least 3 times further than any other ride I have done to date. What could possibly go wrong??

Thank you for reading this. Everything we raise will help in the fight against MND and hopefully fund research into the drugs needed to stop the progression and ultimately find a cure. Every donation counts
