There's something for everyone in The Big Golf Race. Choose from the Half Marathon (2 rounds, 36 holes, 13 miles in a day), the Marathon (4 rounds, 72 holes, 26 miles in a day) or even the Ultra Marathon (5.5 rounds, 100 holes, 35 miles in a day).

Story

Prostate Cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of Dads, Brothers, Partners, Grandads, Mates, Sons and Uncles. But it doesn't have to be this way. Prostate Cancer UK's top priority is funding research to stop Prostate Cancer killing men. They're investing millions to find better treatments and better tests that can stop fast-growing cancers early and could be used in a screening programme to save thousands of lives.

I'm taking on The Big Golf Race for the fifth year running to help raise money and awareness of prostate cancer to keep men in the game for longer.

On Friday 7th June 2024 a fundraising event will take place at Turton Golf Club in support of Prostate Cancer UK. Myself, Gavin Davis and other members will play 36 holes to complete a Half Marathon as part of 'The Big Golf Race' Challenge.

All donations will be immensely appreciated and will go directly to help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner.

Thank you for your support.
