Dave and Nick have been supported so much by Planets charity on their cancer journeys, and the members of their team, who have not only helped them but help so many others through their cancer journeys on a day to day basis. Both Dave and Nick, along with Ady and Ash, will always try and do whatever they can to help raise anything they can for this amazing charity!

This year they can't wait for Planets 'Scrap to the Future' rally and have transformed their car into a Jurassic Park themed vehicle and are now better known as the GERIATRIC PARK team!

They can't wait to take part in this years car rally for all the amazing people touched by Planets charity and any donations (no matter how small) would be hugely appreciated!

PLANETS helps patients with pancreatic, liver, colorectal, gastric, oesophageal and Neuroendocrine cancer.

In 2019, we raised £25,000! This year the aim is to reach £30,000, which will allow us to kick-start the implementation plan for purchasing another novel cancer treatment which has been on our shopping list for years at University Hospital Southampton, but the NHS has not been able to fund. Nanoknife, also known as Irreversible Electroporation (IRE), would enable the team to target some of the most difficult to treat cancers in several settings for PLANETS patients. It uses advanced thermal technology to destroy tumours that are really close to critical vascular structures, without damaging them, unlike other conventional types of treatment.

If we reach this £30k target it will mean we have raised a total of £100,000 across the 3 Scrap to the Future events we've done so far - so lets get started and put all of our efforts into fundraising for PLANETS Cancer Charity for 2023!
