My wife, Lizzie, has unfortunately been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer twice in the last two years. This has meant firstly a radical hysterectomy and then chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Thankfully she is now cancer free. Our Macmillan nurses have been there to support us through what has been a very challenging 2 and half years. The nurses have helped with both physical and mental needs. They have been incredible from day one and still are now.

The day plan is to play what will be 14 to 16 hours of golf, walking around 4 different courses in and around York which will total somewhere between 43-44km's of distance so over a marathon of golf in a day.
