Story
Welcome to my London Marathon 2024 just giving fund page raising money for Phab.
After a late night text chat in April 23 with a great friend of mine I somehow agreed to sign up for a charity place in the London Marathon 2024 which shortly after that my place was accepted.
As most of you will know I’m not exactly in the best shape but by doing this I have certainly set myself a goal.
To say that I am scared is an understatement but extremely excited at the same time.
Training has already begun and over the next eleven months or so running up to the big day I am pretty sure there will be some very hard and emotional days ahead.
Whilst pounding the streets, getting to the gym, trying to control a sensible diet and juggling a already busy work and home life it is definitely not going to be easy.
I have decided to help raise money for the amazing charity Phab who do truly amazing things for children and adults disabled and non-disabled giving them holidays and adventures, which gives them and the families lifetime memories.
I am reaching out to you and asking from the bottom of my heart if you could donate.
Even the smallest amount can go a long way and every donation will only give me more motivation.
I will keep you all updated on a regular basis and thank you in advance
Darren
