Story
I am running the Belfast Half Marathon to raise funds for Kids4school - a charity changing lives in Tanzania.
Kids4school is a multifaceted ministry which primarily enables children to go to school in Tanzania. Along with child sponsorship, Kids4school operate a feeding program, and are involved in many different construction and training projects. After meeting with Rev Tom Robinson, the Founder and Director of Kids4school, I became inspired by the incredible educational and practical work that he and his team have been doing over the past 34 years.
Primary and Secondary Education is available in Tanzania. However, in order to attend school, each pupil is required to have a school uniform and necessary books. Because of the extreme poverty that families find themselves in, it is impossible for them to raise the necessary funds so their children can get the start in life if they are to get out of the poverty trap they are in. Your donation will enable a child to get an education and have food each day.
Please visit the Kids4school website for more information about the ongoing life-changing work taking place: https://uk.kids4school.org/
At Kids4school, 100% of all donations goes towards the projects. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
