St Albans Half 2024
Campaign by AT Society (RCN 1105528)

Story

In 2022 we lost our beloved Charlie to his disabling and life-limiting condition ataxia-telangiectasia (AT). It is a rare inherited condition that affects the nervous system, the immune system and other body systems. Due to the condition being so rare not many people have heard of it and therefore the charity that supports sufferers (The AT Society) does not recieve the funding or donations it deserves and needs. Throughout Charlie’s life the AT Society provided a lot of support for himself and his family and this is a chance for us to say thank you and attempt to raise funds for the charity and help other sufferers. In June I will be pushing myself further than ever in an attempt to complete the AT Society half marathon and try to raise much needed funds for the charity that means so much to myself and all my family. Any support and donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us all and can really make a difference to so many peoples lives.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
