Story
Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you why I'm taking on the incredible challenge of running the Manchester Marathon this April. It's not just about the miles or the finish line for me; it's about something much deeper. You see, my dad was supposed to run this marathon, but unfortunately, he can't because he's currently recovering from major heart surgery. It hit me hard knowing that he had to give up something he was so passionate about. So, I made the decision to run it in his honour. I want to show him my support and love, and what better way than dedicating this marathon to him? But it's not just about my dad, it's about raising awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation. They do incredible work in researching, preventing, and supporting those affected by heart disease. By running this marathon and fundraising, I hope to contribute to their efforts and make a positive impact in the lives of others. So, when I cross that finish line, it won't just be a personal victory; it will be a triumph for all those battling heart-related issues. Together, let's make a difference and show the world the power of resilience and determination in the face of challenges. Thank you for your support!
