Story
In England, 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem each year, and 1 in 6 people experience a common mental health problem like anxiety or depression in a given week. In 2023, 20.3% of children aged 8 to 16 had a probable mental disorder.
Depression and Anxiety can be silent killer. An awful disease in which can take over an individuals life without their friends or family knowing. It doesn't always look like the stereotypical sadness!
In loving memory of those taken by these issues, we are raising money and awareness of the mental health charity “Mind”. Mind offers a range of services, including crisis helplines, supported housing, drop-in centers, counseling, and befriending. They provide information and advice on mental health, including tips for supporting someone who is going through a difficult time.
Mind's mission is to ensure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
In order to raise as much as possible, we are doing a treck up mount Snowdon, Wales. We will begin our climb in the early hours of the morning to reach the top for a perfect sunrise.
No friend, family member, co-worker or anyone should ever have hear the news that someone they love has left this world too soon.
In a world where you can be anything, be kind. You never know what troubles people keep hidden behind closed doors. Give them a reason to open them ❤️
