Story
Danny has recently been diagnosed as clinically blind and has received amazing care and support from the fantastic charity, Blind Veterans UK.
About Blind Veterans UK
we provide veterans with rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support.
We’re one transformational team that believes every vision-impaired veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. Together we can help rebuild lives after sight loss.
We help blind ex-Servicemen and women of every generation. Since 1915, we’ve provided support to tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans.
Together we can help rebuild blind veterans’ lives after sight loss. Away from isolation. Towards a life of fulfilment.
As many people know, Danny served as a paratrooper in the British Forces. Now, at the grand age of 88, he wants to give back to Blind Veterans UK by going back to his roots and jumping out of a perfectly working aeroplane! This incredible feat will help raise much-needed funds for an outstanding charity that is now close to his heart.
Danny will be jumping at the Army Parachute Association in Netheravon on Friday, 6th September, weather permitting.
