Dannie & Peter's Festive Extravaganza
Fundraising for NSPCC
Fundraising for NSPCC
December is coming and that means it's time for some festive fundraising! As many of you know, Myself (NSPCC Social Worker) and Peter (NSPCC CEO) are known for our jazzy dressing and festive challenges. As this is Peter's last month as the CEO we figured we needed to do something extra special to celebrate his 11.5 years in post, and to raise vital funds for a cause we are both incredibly passionate about. Peter may be leaving his post as CEO but his passion and commitment to keeping children safe will continue- and what a great way to mark the occasion than involving children from Grimsby to help us get extra festive this year.
Daily, throughout December, Dannie & Peter will be sporting some extra special, extra festive T-shirts which were designed and created by Children from two primary schools in Grimsby- Macaulay Primary Academy and Ormiston South Parade. Each day, you will have the opportunity to vote your favourite, leave comments and donate. For each person who donates, you will be put into a raffle for a chance to WIN one of the amazing t-shirts! (you will be required to share your email when you donate so we can get in touch if you win!)
The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse, and every child deserves to have someone there when they need support.
That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
