Six Brave Souls attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest group ascent and descent of Kilimanjaro.

We will be looking to complete the challenge in under 24hrs on Friday 17th October 2025.

Mind is our chosen Charity. For me personally, it is very close to my heart and a charity that while my little brother was alive, would always try to raise money for. Alongside that, I know personally what I feels like to suffer with ill mental health. Since retiring from my 12 year professional rugby career in 2023, I now feel rested and ready to push my body to the extremes once again, this time for an incredible charity.

Alongside raising money for a charity so close to all of our hearts, we also want to encourage and inspire others to get the walking boots on, get out and fall in love with the great outdoors.

We have all committed to 8 months of intense training. Every session driven by a common goal to raise money to help aid those struggling with their mental wellbeing. This includes sleeping in altitude tents for 6 weeks prior to the event. The reason for this is to acclimatise to the 11% oxygen (down from 21%) we will face at 5895meters above sea level at the top of kilimanjaro.
