Story

On Sunday 7th April, I will be running London Landmarks Half Marathon on behalf of The National Autistic Society to raise money for the fantastic work they do and as a celebration of World Autism Acceptance Week.

This year I have chosen to run for this charity (despite not being a running lover), as it's one that's always been close to my heart. Having worked with children with autism for more than half of my working life and having family & friends who's lives have been impacted by the challenges autism can bring to day to day life, I understand that it is vital we raise awareness of autism, improve the support that is currently available to both people with autism and their families and continue to provide services and opportunities to help create a society that works for autistic people.

Any donations no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated!
