Welcome to Ronni & Freddi's mission to raise awareness, support, funds for research and hopes of a cure for everyone with mitochondrial disease. Ronni tragically passed away in July 2023 aged just 10, his baby brother, Freddi aged 5 days in 2014.

Story

Ronni & Freddi's Mito Mission aims to raise awareness, support, funds for research... and above all, hopes for a cure for mitochondrial disease.

Little Freddi died from mito at just 5 days old, and his big brother Ronni, tragically passed away in July 2023 aged 10.

Our mission is part of an umbrella charity called My Mito Mission which supports affected families to run their own localised campaigns anywhere in the UK. All monies raised are granted centrally to fund awareness, research and support projects to benefit everyone affected.

Our missions are run by families affected by mitochondrial disease, mito for short. MILLIONS in the UK have illnesses which also involve mitochondrial damage - diabetes, MS, stroke, some cancers & many more. More research into mitochondrial disease could help so many, not just those with mito.
