Story

Hi Everyone,

Firstly thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I am taking part in Ride For Precious Lives 2025 (RFPL) for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW)

Riding from St Austell to Bristol, we’ll cycle through challenging but breath-taking scenery. Starting at the children’s hospice Little Harbour near St Austell, then visiting Little Bridge House near Barnstaple on day 2, and finishing at Charlton Farm near Bristol on Sunday.

I have decided to take part in this challenge as my daughter Ophelia and I have used Little Harbour in St Austell many times and it is truly an amazing place.

Ophelia has an ultra rare life limiting condition called RNF13, and suffers from various heath complications including severe epilepsy, breathing difficulties, scoliosis and CVI.

From first hand experience I know how hard it can be having a child with complex needs, CHSW are always there to help in times of need.

CHSW also provide hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care they offer is wide ranging; hospice breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.

Please help me show support to CHSW by donating to my page!

Thank you.
