On July 22nd 2023 me and lew will be taking on a 262ft free fall abseil at the Olympic Park’s ArcelorMittal Orbit! 😱😰

Whilst Oscar was in hospital for 5 weeks we lived in the Ronald McDonald house in the Evelina, we honestly never knew much about the work they did and we can easily say we don't know how we would have got through them hard weeks without this home away from home, all the staff and resources made everything so much more manageable. Without them we wouldn't have been able to live round the corner from Oscar and be with him at the drop of a hat, as a family we owe so much to this charity and will forever be working to give back to them.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital.

Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.
