Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason why I have chosen this charity is like many other families out there this personally affects me. Nearly 7 years ago I was blessed with the birth of my daughter after being told that I might not be able to ever have kids. Around about her 2nd birthday we were told by doctors that she was developing at a slower rate than other children of her age. After many tests and doctors appointments I was given the news that she had been diagnosed with autism. Over the past few years we have had to have extensive meetings in all aspects of her life including school. After all of this she is happy at school and doing really well with her classes. I know how much pressure it applies to families and during this current time in life I can understand that some families might find it hard and I want to be able to help others in these situations to be able to enjoy the same things as that I have been able to enjoy with my daughter.
