Event: Doddie Aid 2024, from 1 January 2024 to 3 February 2024
In memory of David Scarr
Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2024!

Story

in August 2020 my dad was diagnosed with MND which tragically took his life exactly on his 59th birthday, 6th December 2021. So many families are affected by MND with hero’s like Doddie and Rob building a legacy to find a cure.

Doddie's story has transcended the rugby world. To fearlessly face down his diagnosis and improve the research landscape for people living with MND is mind-blowing. And to have done it with a smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie is an inspiration. Doddie Aid is a way for us all to do our little bit to help his legacy, my dads, and the Foundation in the quest to find better treatments for MND.

My goal is to reach 1,000km across through cycling/running/walking and raise at least £1 for every KM.
