EDF vows to help end the devastation of dementia. We aim to raise a whopping £300,000 through employee fundraising and £150,000 in additional donations, all supporting the cost of life changing dementia services and ground-breaking research.

Story

After seeing how this horrible disease can affect friends and family I have decided take on a 26 mile walk alongside my wife Becky, my friend Lee and a colleague of Becky’s, Sharon around Snowdon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s society.

We will be doing as much training over the next few months and will post photos etc of our progress as much as we can.

Any donation, regardless, will be greatly received

Please feel free to take a look at the link below to see details of the walk we will be doing and some more information surrounding the charity

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
