Story
I am a trustee for the Railway Dogs Benevolent Fund and I will be Walking 50 Miles for our Charity in November.
In 2019 our founding Trustees came together to set up the charity to help support retired police dogs of The British Transport Police.
The Charity was set up to support the owners of retired police dogs where insurance companies failed to.
Insurance companies will not cover previous conditions and sometimes the age of dog when they come to retirement.
This then leaves the Police Dog owner with sometimes large veterinary cost.
These dogs work up to 9 years of their life and we want to make sure they get the best retirement possible.
Rail Dogs Fund aims to fundraise money to insure we can cover the majority of these costs so our dogs can have a long healthy retirement.
Please support us today and gives these dogs the well earned retirement they deserve.
Thank you from everyone at The Railway Dogs Benevolent Fund
