Event: Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2024, on 15 September 2024
On Sunday, 15th September in Edinburgh, a team from St Andrew's Children's Society and their supporters will be stepping out for this year's Kiltwalk. They will be raising vital funds for our adoption and fostering support work.

Story

St Andrew’s Children’s Society is an independent adoption and fostering agency with offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, providing services throughout west and east central Scotland and up to the Highlands. We help find safe and loving homes for vulnerable children living in Scotland who can no longer live with their birth family, including sibling groups, children with disabilities and those severely affected by the trauma of neglect and abuse.

This will be my last fundraising event for St Andrew's Children's Society before I finally retire at the ripe old age of 76 at at the end of this year. In the sixteen years as fundraiser I have raised over £2m for The Society, so it will be great to add a few quid to the total before I go. I will be joining some of our families and colleagues on the 2024 Kiltwalk on Sunday 15th September as I "step ye gaily" for the last time. Thank you
