Story

I'm taking on the huge challenge of stepping one million steps over three months, 1st May - 31st July. I'm challenging myself to walk about 11,000 steps every day to show my support for families who've lost a baby and raise funds to make sure they don't face this tragedy alone.

This charity is one that is very close to my heart. They helped me and my family back in 2014 when our first child Harrison was Stillborn. I ran the Birmingham Half Marathon consecutively for 3 years raising over £1000 for Sands but unfortunately have not done anything since. This challenge seems like a great way to carry on my work.

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They want to help campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

Every donation you make means so much. Thank you.
