I am thrilled to be making my Strictly debut for a very good cause! St Vincent’s Hospice in Howwood is the little hospice with the big heart. It exists to provide care for people who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, while also supporting their loved ones through the journey. I am participating in Strictly St Vincent’s 2025, a personal challenge that will take place on November 1st, 2025.

And why dancing? It provides a real challenge, because I hate being watched and judged when I am less than perfect. I'm happy enough at a ceilidh where no-one cares, but much less confident of performing at an event where I need to get it right. My big fear is making mistakes in public and this is tapping right into that.

So your kind donations will help to provide excellent care when and where it is most needed. But it will also spur me on to keep learning, practising and ultimately turn up
