The Sauk County Humane Society is gearing up for our 26th Annual PAWS Walk for Animals, to be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the Maxwell Potter Conservancy/Liston Dog Park in Baraboo. We would love your help in making this year another success.
Story
The shelter took a call from a woman who said she found an injured cat. "Please hurry," she said.
So begins the story of Larry, an endearing cat who, thankfully, has heroes of his own.
You can watch Larry's story on SCHS's YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@saukcountyhumanesociety8084
What this sweet cat survived, all through Wisconsin's frigid winters is almost unbelievable. Severe mange, losing half his leg, enduring rotting teeth, losing his ears due to painful frostbite, all on his own. I want you to see the level of love and care SCHS provided Larry because of donations from generous people like you. I want you to see the tireless work and care SCHS gave this poor kitty who was in such bad shape we weren't sure they could save him.
I'm hoping I can count on your support for this year's SCHS PAWS Walk.
I am honored to work with the Sauk County Humane Society where no animal is ever turned away. That is why I'm walking on May 3 and why I'm asking for your support.
