Story
I'm lacing up my running shoes and putting on a very eye-catching fancy dress outfit to take on this race in support of Mind, the mental health charity. Why the fancy dress, you ask? Because I want to make a statement that mental health matters – and if a bit of silliness can spark a conversation, a smile, or even inspire someone to seek support, it’s worth every mile!
Mental health affects us all, whether personally or through someone we care about. Mind has been a beacon of hope, offering critical resources, advocacy, and support to those who need it most. By running in fancy dress, I hope to not only raise funds for this essential work but also show that there’s no shame in reaching out and no limit to what we can accomplish when we come together.
Please donate if you can, cheer me on at the War Memorial Park on 1st December, or simply share this page to help spread awareness. Let’s make every step count for mental health!
