Over the past year, I've been privileged to help raise funds to support Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Park. This summer, I'm taking that one step - actually 26 miles of steps - further and I could use your help.

Some friends and I are taking a four-day hike through Olympic National Park's magnificent Enchanted Valley as part of a group fundraising trek to raise $16,000 to support trail work on the park's more than 600 miles of sprawling trails. As you can see by my photo gallery, I love me some ONP trails!

Help me make this incredible trek dream come true and support my trek with a donation! My personal fundraising goal is $2,000 and I want to hit the halfway point by April, and I'm looking for your support.

I plan to share regular updates including training hikes and, of course, from the Enchanted Valley trek itself with its lush rainforests and towering mountains and its well known historic chalet, hidden away in a picturesque valley.
