Story

We have been going down the beach every year since 2013 dressed up to support this great cause. If you can come down and support we look forward to seeing you there!!!

Macmillan Caring Locally is a small charity established in 1974 to build the Macmillan Unit at Christchurch Hospital, and to support it in partnership with the NHS. Although we share the Macmillan name we are not connected to the national charity Macmillan Cancer Support. Donations we receive are used to fund the specialist care of our patients at the Macmillan Unit, and those who are under our care living at home in our community. The funds raised at the White Christmas Dip have enabled us to buy essential equipment for the Macmillan Unit and to provide an attractive, homely environment for our patients, their families and visitors.

Please give what you can to support the 2024 Macmillan White Christmas Dip.

Thank you for your support. Every £1 you raise in sponsorship will help us provide the best possible care in our Hospice at Christchurch Hospital, and for our patients in our community.
