Story
We're trekking 26.2 miles across the South Downs for St Andrew's! St. Andrew's stands as a beacon of hope, bringing people together from all walks of life to worship, enjoy friendship and to serve the community.
Throughout the week it provides a number of free, inclusive activities including a kids and adult choir, youth group, coffee mornings, brunches and warm welcome hubs.
These activities make our spiritual home a bastion against poverty and isolation. But this bastion is physically crumbling!
Currently lacking essential facilities such as a kitchen and toilet, and burdened with outdated, environmentally unfriendly heating, we are eager to embark on a transformative journey to make our church a more inclusive and accessible hub for all whilst highlighting the beauty and heritage of the building. Part of this journey is a 26.2 mile walk on 21st of April. It's going to be hard but we're doing it because we love our church and we love our community. Please sponsor us!
