Campaign by GroceryAid (RCN 1095897)
On Wednesday 17th - Sunday 21st July 2024, over 80 riders will be cycling Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Whitby raising vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.

Story

For over 160 years, GroceryAid has been a pillar of support within the food and beverage industry, assisting colleagues through various challenges. Since its establishment in 1857, it has offered emotional, practical, and financial assistance to individuals working in the grocery sector. Governed by a dedicated board of 14 trustees, the charity ensures legal compliance, statutory obligations, and fosters its growth and development.

As a trustee, Dawood Pervez is deeply committed to advancing the charity's mission and meeting its fundraising needs to sustain its vital support for industry professionals. One of the notable events that exemplifies this commitment is the Coast-to-Coast cycling challenge, a three-day cycle challenge that takes cyclists through some of the most scenic views that England has to offer. The 2023 challenge raised an incredible £195,000 for GroceryAid along the way.

Dawood Pervez, alongside Rob Chisholm and Daniel Forth, are participating again in this event, rallying support for a cause that significantly impacts lives within our sector.

Your contribution is indispensable in our ongoing efforts to raise funds, and every donation is immensely valued.

Thank you so much for visiting our JustGiving page and considering a donation to support the cause.
