Just over 3 years ago our little daughter Thea rose was born, it was at this time we also found out through a post natal diagnosis that she was born with an extra chromosome, known as Down syndrome. At that time we honestly had no idea what was in store for us, we asked the doctors and nurses what to expect and although they were great with us they offered little help and seemed very limited in the knowledge they could pass on to us. Thankfully this day in age we were able to join online communities within the DSA( Down syndrome association) and also PADS(positive about down syndrome).It’s the support and knowledge from these charities and groups that have guided us on our amazing journey. These charities need as much help as possible to be able to provide support, knowledge, training within our communities. It is an absolute honour to be chosen to run the London marathon for a charity that has done so much for us already and will continue to do so for rest of our journey.I would love to be able to raise as much as we can together.Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
