Story
Last year we were able to help Petals support more families experiencing baby loss as we walked from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This year I’m seeking your support again and will be undertaking a South Pole virtual challenge! More details to follow when I’ve decided which route (they range from 100 miles to 800 miles) - I have to get there by 31 March…
UPDATE - I am doing the 200 miles route!
Why am I doing this?
In 2015 we lost Lovelet early in pregnancy. In 2016 we had our daughter Phoebe who had a few early challenges. Petals’ counselling helped us process these events as a family and was invaluable. We want to take these opportunities to enable others to be funded to work with them.
More about Petals from the charity
We are Petals, the baby loss counselling charity. The specialist counselling service that we provide is life-changing for parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a pregnancy or death of a baby. We know that these tragic experiences not only result in grief but also in trauma. Our wonderful counsellors are there to help our clients navigate their grief and trauma and to guide them to a place of hope.
Supporting this challenge you will be helping us to deliver more vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents when they need us.
