This year I was looking to do something different. I seen the Kilimanjaro climb challenge advertised and I tought perfect. Not only would this be a challenge but one with a meaningful purpose.

Choose a challenge is an adventure travel company who have helped people raised over 23 million euro for charity since its creation.

Choose a challenge has partnered with the meningitis research foundation and Limerick University.

To raise money for MRF, A group of students and I will be taking on the challenge of sumitting the tallest mountain on the continent of Africa, Mount kilimanjaro.

Kilimanjaro is not only the tallest mountain in Africa but the tallest free standing mountain in the world. We will depart on this expedition in the 3rd week of August 2024.

My aim is to raise 5895 euro €1 for every meter of kilimanjaro
