Great North Run 2023 - #TeamOrange
Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
Our fantastic #TeamOrange runners are taking on the Great North Run to make every step count in the race to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

I am taking part in the Great North run this September in memory of my two nephews Sunil and Deepak who both had Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy and sadly died in their teens. I am really excited to be joined by my nephew Arun, brother to Sunil and Deepak, my sister Rani and family friend Stephen. I suppose you could say it is a family affair.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and in many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.

All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
