Story
Starting on the 29th September, I will be running a 110 mile trail race to raise money for Dementia UK.
Starting and finishing in Keswick, the 13 Valleys Ultramarathon takes in 182km of mountainous terrain with over 7000m of elevation gain completing a full loop around the Lake district. This is considered to be one of the hardest tests of ultra running in the world due to its rugged and unforgiving terrain especially during the overnight legs.
I am raising money for Dementia UK, Everyone Active’s charity of the year. Not only do they do amazing work all across the country but this charity has a special meaning for me. My Grandad is currently living with Dementia so I have seen the effect this condition has on everyone involved and the crucial work Dementia UK are doing.
Your support would be truly appreciated, and any donation big or small will be a huge help for this amazing charity.
