We are a team of 8 paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) running the Great Birmingham Run Half Marathon in our full incident response uniform and equipment.

This will be a huge challenge for us carry all our equipment in uniform over 13.1 miles and we want raise money for two charities which D team have personal connections-

The Ambulance Staff Charity.

Together for Short Lives.

Together for Short Lives are a charity that exists to work towards a future where every seriously ill child, and their family, receives high quality children’s palliative care when and where they need it.

Every penny you donate will go towards the work they do to provide support for families, uniting the sector, and campaigning for change.

With your help, Together for Short Lives will make sure that no family faces the journey of their child's short life alone and can instead treasure every moment they have.

We would be very grateful for any donations leading up to the event or support on the way round.
