Story

Maureen and I are fundraising for Claverhouse Rotary Trust in order that the Claverhouse Club can continue to support- via its "4 Dundee's Primary Kids" project, the young children of Dundee. It is estimated that over 30% of Dundee's children live in poverty. The Club works in partnhership with local primary schools setting up in each a fund, managed by the headteacher, that is used to directly support children perceived to be in need of help. Here are just some of the ways in which funds have been used:

Providing fruit for break time snacks.

Breakfast clubs to provide a nutritious start to the day for pupils who arrive at school hungry.

Making winter jackets and boots available to youngsters whose parents can't afford them.

School foodbank contributions.

The Club has recently raised and disributed £18,000 for the " 4 Dundee's Primary Kids" project......we needs to keep the funds flowing.
