One of the staff members at Cygnet Views uses this service to support her son and has supported him in various different ways. He has Down syndrome which impacts the way he learns. He has attended for over a year and in that time he is independently walking, working on his sounds to enable speech, helped his gross and fine motor skills and also given him an opportunity to build and navigate friendships.

They have also supported Archie’s mummies and given opportunity to contact with other families through events. All of this wouldn’t happen without the generosity of people.

Dread fills you when your child is diagnosed with any level of learning disability but the help of charities like this it gives families hope and the help they so desperately fight for on a daily basis.
