As part of Sucden Financial’s 50th Anniversary Good Cause Initiative, we have established ‘The Sucden Financial Community Fund’ in partnership with the East End Community Foundation.

Activities:

October Update: Our final challenge of 2023 is approaching! On Saturday 28 October our team will participate to The London Halloween Walk and will be walking 25km around London!

London to Paris Charity Bike Ride: Our team cycled from London to Newhaven and on through the picturesque French countryside to finish in Paris, the location of Sucden Group's HQ. The ride took place on 10th - 11th September, covering approximately 290km over the two days.

A Golf Day took place on 4th July, involving our clients and members of our teams.

The first challenge of the year: London-Paris Walking Challenge took place in April, where we set our colleagues a 'virtual' challenge to reach Paris by 30th April and walk around 800,500 steps!

EECF is part of the UK Community Foundation network, and is the leading charitable foundation and funder in East London, allocating grants to grassroots charities in the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham, and the City of London – some of the most deprived local authorities in the UK. Our fundraising initiative helps our surrounding community to address four critical areas (the energy crisis, rising food prices, financial literacy, and a lack of IT skills). Any support would be greatly appreciated to tackle those urgent issues facing East London today.
