A bit about who we are.
We're Croydon Vision, a dynamic local organisation laser-focused on encouraging independence, confidence and personal development among the blind and the partially sighted community of Croydon. The services we offer our members are truly life-changing; from young people's clubs to legal advice and advocacy, accessible dance classes to life-enriching excursions.
Yes! We've been changing lives for 100 years.
Our local ethnic diversity, means that the prevalence of certain eye conditions are disproportionately high in Croydon. That's why we're here. Our mission at Croydon Vision is to encourage independence, confidence and personal development among the blind and partially sighted community here, and we've now been doing that for more than 100 years.
Let's celebrate.
Coming together to mark this momentous centenary is a key moment for our community and we'd love for you to be part of it. That's why we've invited our members to join us at Fairfield Halls, where we'll enjoy live entertainment, a drinks reception, a sumptuous three-course meal and inspirational keynote speakers.
Togetherness is key.
If you can afford to cover the cost of one of our member's tickets, not only will you be helping to support our important work, but you'll make their night as well.
There are a few ways you can provide our members with the opportunity to be a part of this momentous occasion:
1) Donate the cost of one ticket at £125, which provides a 3 course meal + welcome drink and an evening of entertainment
2) Donate what you can towards a ticket, every penny counts!
Our members are the foundation of the organisation and face huge adversity every single day, so to have the chance to be part of the history builds on hope and a positive outlook for their future at Croydon Vision as we build for the next 100 years.
