As response officers, part of our job involves attending calls that at times have tragic outcomes involving animals. Recently our team attended a tough animal cruelty case which has effected a number of colleagues. In response to this we would like to give something back to the our furry friends and volunteers who care for them.

We are launching a fundraiser for a local charity, Croydon Animal Samaritans, dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and abandoned animals in our community. To support this cause we will be taking part in the Thames Bridges 25km Trek to raise money for Croydon Animal Samaritans. This charity not only rescues and provides shelter to countless animals in need, but also offers essential veterinary care, rehabilitation, and rehoming services. Unfortunately, the ongoing costs of care and resources have increased, making it challenging for them to continue their vital work. By coming together to support this fundraiser, we can help ensure that these animals receive the love, care, and second chances they deserve. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference in providing a safe haven for animals in Croydon. Join us in making a positive impact on their lives!
